Summer Recruitment Round

1st July 2025Call for applications opens
4th August 2025 23:59Call for applications closes
w/c 22nd September 2025Shortlisted applicants are invited to interview
5th November 2025 Face-to-Face panel interviews take place in Bristol
17th November 2025Applicants are notified of the outcomes of the interviews
w/c 15th December 2025 Programme and Institutional Introductions
December 2025 – March 2026GW4-CAT HP fellows identify their supervisors team and write their project proposals with assistance from a GW4-CAT HP Director and the Programme Manager
w/c 1st April 2026GW4-CAT HP fellows submit their project proposals for peer review
April – May 2026Project proposals sent for peer review and fellows respond to comments
w/c 15th June 2026Project proposal interviews take place
15th July 2026Any amendments to project proposals are completed and signed off
August – September 2026Most GW4-CAT HP fellows will commence their PhD (start dates are negotiable)
September – October 2026Mandatory Induction Day
